James has been a mortgage advisor since 1997. Before he became co-founder of The Mortgage Finance Store Ltd. he was Head of Business Development at one of Scotland's largest and most prestigious law firms, The PSM Law Group. James was recognised by the Institute of Directors when he took second place in their Director of the Year awards in 2004.
A mortgage transaction can be a stressful time in anyone's life. We're here to help, assist, advise and take the individual by the hand from start to finish to ensure the process is as stress free as possible. This approach enabled us to complete on 95 million mortgage lending on behalf of our clients last year.

Have had help from James for 4 years now on my mortgage, and he and the team have always been brilliant.
First James helped me through buying my ex hubby out of my house, so was both efficient and also probably part counsellor 😂 which was very reassuring.
The team has helped me redo my fixed rate twice since and they are quick, responsive, approachable and accurate. Would recommend - and actually have recommended to others.

Myself and my partner recently used the Mortgage Finance Store to help purchase our first home. From start to finish the process was easy and stress free.
