Norwich Sunblinds was formed in 1978 by John Reddington, who worked from home before opening the present shop in St Benedict's Street Norwich soon after. It was a family business from the very beginning but when John's wife, Pauline, fell pregnant, his daughter, Fiona, (who was then 20) joined the company and has been there ever since, becoming a director of the company.
Her husband Kevin joined Norwich Sunblinds in 1989 after a career in banking and is now managing director of the firm. Norwich Sunblinds began manufacturing made-to-measure vertical and roller blinds above the St Benedict's shop in 1980. Fiona remembers five-metre head rails being delivered - they had to shut the street because they were so long.

I had been intending to have blinds fitted to my conservatory for over a year, I looked into doing it myself but after research realised I needed to get it done properly. I called a few companies but found them to be the most helpful and knowledgeable. I managed to get a cancellation and the chap that came out was excellent, no sales chat, just measured, gave me options for colour etc then a price.
I paid the deposit that afternoon and was given a fitting date for 3 weeks time.
The fitter turned up today, fast clean and professional. The blinds look amazing, my conservatory looks so smart.
