It's important to understand a clients affairs to be proactive, spot problems and tax planning opportunities. You can't get that understanding when you're bounced around between different advisors. Transient staff also need to learn afresh, wasting time, money and often have little incentive to maintain standards.
Ultimately we can't offer the service we do at our price point without it. We put a lot of work directly into our clients, but just as important is what happens behind the scenes. We invest in our computer systems, quality control and staff with a strong emphasis on tax developments. We work for you and not the tax man.

Services
Our clients are primarily small and medium size businesses up to 6.5m turnover. But we don't believe being a small business should be a barrier to receiving an accountancy and taxation service of the highest quality. We're able to provide everything your businesses needs from basic compliance work through to ways to structure your business to maximise its profitability.
Residence and domicile are complex areas. The legislation was significantly overhauled in 2013 and we can address the issues you need to consider when both leaving and returning to the UK including the effect on your Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax. We look at ways to minimise your tax due such as steps to establish non-domicile, the number of days you spend in the UK and the 30,000, 60,000 and 90,000 remittance basis charges.
Most landlords are required to register and delare their income to HMRC. This is time consuming, and legislation is frequently changing. We take care of everything you need to comply and ensure you're not paying more tax than you need to. We're always on the front foot with new legislation, claims, elections and government backed schemes.
Outsourcing isn't always a good idea, but in the case of payroll it makes sense for most businesses. There are inherent economies of scale when you are able to assign dedicated staff and computer software. This pays off much better than purchasing your own software, trying to keep up to date with legislation changes or working with the feature limited HMRC software.
