Family Fortunes may sound like a tedious television quiz programme, but actually the title is rather important. We all need to make sure that we maximise our own family fortunes and not suffer what I see too often which are family misfortunes.
Well I can now speak from experience. There is a rather corny old line about investment but after my career embedded in it, I can attest to its truth - “if you are planning to invest, don’t. Invest in planning".
Of course, it is very logical, after all you would not set up a business without

Really useful first meeting with Louise Oliver to review our pensions options as we approach the draw-down point. I like their holistic approach to the whole family's finances and even reminded us to get our wills sorted.
