I started the business some 35 years ago, the shop is now located in Church Street in the old part of Hereford by the cathedral that houses the Mappa Mundi and the Chained Library. Having done my apprenticeship 40 years ago in Australia and then relocating back to England I have established my business as an independent retailer along with having an onsite workshop.
Working alongside me is Tina Bridges who studied at Hereford Art College who then joined me some 30 years ago. We work traditionally as a fabricating goldsmiths which allows the customers to see their creations come alive step by step. Still manufacturing our jewellery with mouth-blown torches in a by-gone era but producing update pieces for the modern customer.

We manufacture hallmarked gold, silver and platinum pieces, often using beautiful gem stones, some of which you may recognise as favourites. The world of gemmology is fascinating and we would like to introduce you to the kaleidoscope of coloured gems that give that special piece of jewellery the individuality to match your own.

All handmade in Birmingham since 1779. The pewter is non-toxic from Virgin Tin, Copper and Antimony, after completing the products the waste is 100% recycled. We stock Archibald Knox and Mackintosh and Celtic Design clocks, trinket boxes in all sizes. To accompany these we have some unique wine, whisky and champagne glasses for something a little different.
Our gallery shows pieces that we have hand made in our workshop and are for sale. Put simply, don't go anywhere else, only go here. I had my late fathers ring, which I didn't wanted to leave with anyone because of the sentimental value and Tina assured me it would be secure and safe. I had a new half shank added, re sized, new claw, cleaned and valued. I am so happy with what they have done, the quality of work and their genuine approach. Thank you guy!

Brilliant service and very friendly/helpful. Lovely items in stock at very reasonable prices too.
I have been visiting for some time now to get little fiddly jobs done.
Today was the best. Needed a strap repair. Expected to leave the watch, but it was done on site, all for a reasonable cost, and I was trusted to bring payment in "sometime"
