We also provide some of the best Theory and Hazard Perception Test preparation resources in the market place.
You can start preparing for your theory test straight away by downloading our free trial theory test apps for your smart device, PC or preparing using our online learning hub. However, you cannot start your driving lessons until you have a provisional driving licence. You can obtain a provisional driving licence direct by using the DVLA online provisional licence application.
The Theory Test is in two parts. The first part being the multiple choice test and the second part the Hazard Perception Test. The multiple choice test for car drivers and motorcycle riders consists of 50 questions. Associated with each question is a list of potential answers. You need to select the correct answer, or indeed answers, by either touching the appropriate area of the computer screen or using the mouse pointer and button.
Below you will find options to take a free Theory Test using the DVSA Theory Test revision questions, answers and hazard perception test clips without the need to register your details. The options below are only for car drivers. The second part of the Theory Test is the hazard perception test which you can find out more about by going to Hazard Perception Test.
The following DVSA introduction video would be played at the start of the Hazard Perception Test. The above video explains how the hazard perception test works and what you are required to do. You would then be shown 14 hazard perception video clips of approximately one minute each. There will be 15 developing hazards to find - at least one on each clip.

As long as there are drivers like Phil Paul (man in the picture, a driving instructor), roads are not safe to drive. Few weeks ago someone raised concern about similar issue where many morons like Phil think… that they can turn right for Crawley at pease pottage roundabout from right lane which clearly says that left hand lane is for Horsham A264 only. He instructed his learner to turn right from left lane and badly hit our car and damaged the whole back bumper. I dnt really blame the learner as she was only following his lame instruction, however what really upsets me that despite committing

Phil Paul, what an absolute joke of a driving instructor, if that’s what you want to call him. Very unprofessional, doesn’t know the rules of the road. Avoid at all cost!!!

Phil Paul of Horsham is not a reputable instructor. He encourages students to cut lanes and therefore caused a collision with another vehicle. He does not accept responsibility and lies. Do not recommend, he is irresponsible and should not be allowed to teach. He admitted having dash cam footage at the scene and later denied this so as not to be held accountable.

I would never recommended LDC driving school and especially not Phil Paul who is under the impression you can go right from the left lane of a roundabout and hit into me with one of his students driving. He is… not accepting liability despite the accident being his fault. If you want an instructor who knows how to drive, which lane to drive in and to avoid an accident do not choose Phil Paul from Horsham. Causing me a lot of stress and from the photos of the damage you easily see that he drove into me from the angle of his damage and the damage on my bumper.

I had a fantastic time learning to drive with Nirav. I am a very nervous person and I was so daunted by the idea of learning to drive. Nirav made me feel comfortable and safe while learning to drive. He is also very funny which helps the process not feel so bad. I would recommend him to anyone. I passed first time with Nirav which is something i thought would never happen.

Zan Simkin has been an amazing driving instructor - very kind, encouraging and supportive! She really went out of her way to be as helpful as possible, and offered the reassurance I needed right from day one to ultimately be able to pass first time! I can’t recommend her enough, no matter what level of experience you may have ☺️

Wow, first lesson for my Daughter out the way and she was buzzing, helped by the fact her instructor is an amazing chap.
Chris has to be one of the most informative and knowledgeable instructors out there. He made her feel at ease, calm and relaxed.
Thank you Chris Allanson.

Too expensive and the whole point of it being expensive is you pass quicker but I've had about 100 lessons so you are better off getting private lessons as they teach the same and are cheaper. If only someone told me this before.

I saw one of their instructors on the A66 this morning driving like an absolute maniac! Cut me up, weaving/rushing through the morning commute with no indication etc.
I wouldn’t learn with this company if they’re hiring instructors who can’t drive responsibily.
FYI it was a female driving a silver VW Golf at around 7:50am on the A66 at Middlesbrough.
Response to comment, "This is not a real review".
