Over 40 years ago David Wilkins turned his passion into a business; supported by his late wife Alice he began the voyage of discovery through London's wholesale Oriental rug importers. Over the years David acquired an in-depth knowledge and with this he was able to guide his clients safely through the Labyrinth of London's Oriental rug and carpet selection.
In 1991 David was joined by his son Alexander who now runs the business with the wisdom of his father, making it a truly family concern. Alexander has traveled to many of the rug producing country's including Iran/Persia and will be happy to impart his knowledge to help you find that special oriental carpet.

The pricing of Oriental rugs depends on many factors, but we have been asked to give a quick example. So a fireside rug say 2.00m x 1.50m prices would start from around 400, and a large room size carpet say 4.00m x 3.00m would start from around 1,800. All above prices are for new production, Old and antique rugs and carpets are priced individually.
The Oriental rug & carpet warehouse at NW2 Staples Corner London, has a huge selection of handmade oriental rugs and carpets to suit all styles of property. The Oriental Carpet Centre at N4 is one of the oldest locations for the oriental rug trade, it specializes in old and antique rugs and carpets, with some rare and unusual sizes, which can be very hard to find.
