We know how important learning to drive is to you, this is why from the moment you meet your driving instructor we will use our years of experience to judge what level of training is needed for you based on your knowledge and ability. When learning to drive, the relationship between the driving instructor and the pupil is extremely important as this is the person who will guide you through to your test.
After you have taken advantage of one of our fantastic special offers, the following prices are our standard lesson prices. All lessons can either be paid for online, or when taking the lesson with your instructor. When you are ready for your test, this gives you a one hour pre-test lesson and use of our car for the test.
You must get a new Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to start your application, even if you already have one. Once you've passed the theory test, you must pass the other parts of the test within 2 years or you'll have to start the whole process again. If you've passed ADI part 2 you have the option to apply for a 6 month trainee licence to get experience teaching students.
Driver Instructor Qualifying Exams You'll be well on your way to becoming an Instructor in No time Driver Instructor Qualifying Exams in Nottingham There are 100 multiple choice questions and 14 hazard perception video clips. This test is fully explained in the ADI 14 booklet. Mock exam papers, materials and tutor support are provided by Accelerate.
The driving instructor trainee licence allows candidates to work for payment for a driving school whilst preparing for the instructional test. To be eligible for the licence you must undertake 40 hours of training and be sponsored by the driving school. A further 20 hours of training must be undertaken during the first 3 months of the licence or before you take part 3 of the exam, whichever is the sooner.

I have had an excellent experience learning to drive with accelerate driving school. Dan was my instructor, he was ver clear with his communication, a very good teacher and felt that not only have I learned a great deal from him, but have also gained a lot of confidence in my driving abilities. I couldn’t have wished for a better experience and passed first time. Thanks Dan for being a fabulous instructor.

I would like to take this chance to say a big thank you to John for helping me learn how to drive and giving me enough confidence to be able to take my driving test - even when things weren’t going my way. I passed my driving test yesterday morning and it was a massive relief! With the combination of John being so patient and encouraging it only took me 10 lessons before I was allowed on the road on my own!

I took automatic driving lessons with Pete and passed first time im absolutely over the moon and its not quite sunk in yet! Felt comfortable straight away and could not of asked for a better driving instructor he is professional, patient and always gave the best advice on how to improve my driving, thanks for everything mate!

I passed first time in an automatic car with Pete, and he was an exceptional teacher. I could not have asked for a better instructor; most notable was his patience, kindness, knowledge and assertiveness. As a result of Pete's teaching, I now drive with confidence and safety. I had the pleasure of working with Jon and I managed to pass first time. He's simply a great teacher, experienced, attentive and patient when required. My progress wasn't always linear, however he made sure we worked on exactly what was needed, to get the the job done. He's a great laugh as well. Highly recommended.
