Cawder Hall Cottages
Barnloft, Mistal and Boskin self catering country holiday cottages, have all been individually and lovingly restored. Originally they were Agricultural buildings that once housed pigs, cows, horses and even Reindeer! Today, the exposed Yorkshire stone and Oak beams remain as nostalgic features of interest within the country atmosphere of each Dales cottage.

Cawder Hall Cottages have three English country holiday cottages. Each is surrounded by open untamed moorland and stunning countryside that provides far reaching views of the surrounding Dales area and wildlife. Guests are provided with home from home accommodation, that incorporates all modern facilities at a reasonable and affordable price.
Services
Until 1953 Cawder Hall Cottages was incorporated into the Skipton castle estate. It was then sold off to raise vital funds and continued as a working farm. Farm workers from Ireland used to stay at Cawder Hall cottages and earn their money through the harvesting time. Whilst renovating one cottage we found they had written their weekly wages on the wall.
Quality and affordable accommodation for 4 people is found in our largest cottage that has parking available within the main yard. Views over countryside. There are five steps leading into the Barnloft which has accommodation on 2 floors. The entrance leads into a large lounge area with full leather suite, dining table and chairs for 4 people, flat screen T.V and DVD and free Wi Fi.
The Boskin offers affordable accommodation for 4 people within a courtyard location with parking directly outside. Set in a quiet location overlooking open fields. The accommodation has seating for 4 people with 3 seater leather settee and one tapestry chair. Flat screen T.V and DVD. Open working kitchen with all facilities, pine dining table with 4 chairs.
SKIPTON: Charming market town approx. 1 mile from Cawder Hall Cottages that whilst moving with the times has managed to retain that 'Olde-worlde' feel and historical interest. The medieval castle and church sit predominantly at the top of the high st looking down on to a vast array of quality shops and lively street market.
Approaching Skipton on the A629, take the road to the right at the roundabout signed - Skipton Town centre - at the start of the Skipton by-pass follow A6131 straight on to the next mini roundabout and passing the Rendezvous Hotel, go straight ahead at the mini roundabout, after the second traffic island, take the next right turn at the school sign over the stone canal bridge.

Ideal for couples and families with comfy and cosy cottages and a warm Yorkshire welcome, tucked away in a peaceful location. In fact enjoyed it so much we have booked a second visit.
