The modern business of GB Liners has grown out of a company established by the present Managing Director's grandfather as Bartup's Limited in Brighton in 1923. In 1946, a small moving and storing business in Hereford was purchased from Trevor Williams and a new company was formed called Trevor Williams (Removers) Ltd.
During the 70's, 80's and 90's a collection of businesses were acquired and locations started to enable the GB Liners name to truly become a nationwide company. We now operate a modern fleet of vehicles from eleven locations, offering a professional moving service all around the UK, to and from Europe and Worldwide too.

GB Liners carried out a cross country move for us with difficult access issues at one end. Although it was a tough move, they handled it well and the guys were very friendly throughout. They always made sure we were happy with where all our items were placed and were careful with our furniture.

Having to move from my lovely home after the death of my husband was heartbreaking but GB Liners were the perfect company to deal with. From the very first phone call everyone was helpful, patient and understanding. I felt supported and cared for. The move to a storage unit was stress free and the team had the ideal combination of professionalism and humour.I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Excellent service, made an effort to fit the move in with short notice and during Covid-19. The whole team very friendly and helpful, all followed safety guidelines. Excellent packing. Absolutely nothing to fault here, would highly recommend. Good value for money and very professional.
