Most laptop brands just change the whole board when there is a fault on a chip soldered onto the board. Here at Creative IT they actually replace the broken chip, while you wait and for half the price of the board replacement cost. We need more repair companies like these for a sustainable future. In the picture you can see the tiny chip they replaced on my Dell XPS 13 (my debit card next to it for comparison).

My experience with creativeIT has been poor.
Having been repaired, (whose price they did not show including VAT - odd), my screen quickly malfunctioned and stopped working due to a loose connection within a week. I went to get it repaired again under warranty, and they suggested it was due to me 'pressing on the screen of my laptop', which was obviously not true. They fixed the screen again, thankfully under warranty, and then forgot to include the cable with the laptop. After going back for the fifth time to get the cable, I thought my experience had finished, but it turns out they forgot to

I honestly do not know how this place has such great reviews (though I have some guesses)... I had a terrible experience here in 2020 right before the pandemic. I recently found a proper repair shop that doesn't swindle people and I suddenly remembered this place. I feel like I have a duty to warn others... when I visited, I had a laptop with a broken keyboard and came in looking for a quote. After waiting for 45 min to be seen, I was told by the owner they would have to open up my laptop and keep it for two days just to give me a quote. I said fine. I got a call a couple days later and was given

So.....
The Saga started back in October of 2015.
After my Dell XPS ONE failed I started researching possible causes, most probable was the motherboard or the on board graphics card.
I phoned around a few places explaining my problem, and after a few ok responses I got through to Creative IT, I spoke to the owner "Sam" who assured me that they provided a superior service as they had all the right equipment to re solder a new card or replace the motherboard, I as ked if this was a service they could provide at a fixed cost whilst I waited and was told "Yes of course" So off

I suggest to never go there!
I went a while ago with my mac because it is closer than the apple store. they tested my mac and told me they could fix it for GBP450 ! I told them that I thought that was expensive and they said they could do it cheaper but were then not able to fix everything. I decided not to do it so I paid the GBP45 "check fee".
Next day I went to apple store Covent Garden. They checked my Mac and it wasn't too bad. I could leave it there and they would let me know when it was ready. The following day I was contacted by them that I could pick it up. Cost: GBP 31

Beware! This company ripping off customer at high speed. I took my laptop to creative it afor repair and he asked me £290 for the recovery data plus £170 replacement of hard drive (plus vat of course) im not a techie but was way too much and it was pushing too much and it seemed that price are random for each customer. I decided to take it back without servicing and went to check a second opinion. Result? £ 300 cheaper than creative it (80 for the recovery data)!! I feel sorry for the poor guy was there before me that forked £300 for half hour job. Don't trust them, taking advantage from

If you want professional service, do not go to this place. The manager was really rude and the customer service was inexistent. The guy did not commit himself when I asked for a price to remove a virus, he said it would be 150 £. He would not give me a top price as he said it would depend. Not much to go on. This could end up costing more than the computer??
I said I needed a price. He then said bring it in and if we cannot fix it we will reinstall the hard drive.
I hate that kind of vagueness when it comes to price, you should at least commit to a no more than kind
They left me with a broken
