I have spent more than a decade at the sharp end of Retail Management and retail recruitment. I started my early retail career with Arcadia before making the transition to retail recruitment. Appropriately enough for a recruitment company that prides itself on finding great candidates who stay loyal, I was one of the original members of our recruitment team (back when we were a team of 4+ dog).
The reason I'm still here is simple: I love my job. I love managing a team. I love the buzz of placing great people in their dream jobs, and I love the working culture at ZD. In 2012, 2 men and a dog (literally) saw an opportunity to create a very different recruitment consultancy. Starting small, applying the same traits that built the business to the way we recruited. It was an approach that struck a chord with clients who loved the fact that we listened more than they talked.
Whenever we've found ourselves needing to expand our team (something we've done rather a lot), we've found the right people by taking a leaf out of our own recruitment book. You see, just as with your recruitment, being part of team ZD is more than a simple calculation of skill + experience + results.

Zachary Daniels were very supportive through the whole job process and gave me a really good level of support throughout. I applied through one of their schemes and with the help of their support got me a job. The structure in which they operated the process from telephone screening to the assessment day they organised was much better than any I have personally undertook before. Highly recommend.

Very professional. I had a call back about my application the same day and after the necessary screening questions they explained me very clearly the expectations for the position and they gave me all the necessary information I needed to decide if I wanted to proceed with my application.
