At Topgear driving tuition we offer several intensive courses that range from one week to ten. Intensive courses are designed for people who need their licence in a hurry or feel they would learn better in a short space of time.
A typical course will last ten days with a test already booked at the end of your course although more people are going for a semi intensive course over several weeks given the waiting time for practical test around 5 weeks and theory tests are 3.A 50% deposit is needed on all courses which is non-refundable under any circumstances unless we fill the slot you have left open.

You are allowed 57 mins to complete the theory test which consists of 50 questions you have to score 43 or above to pass the theory part of the test. Read all questions carefully a lot of questions have slight differences like "what must you do" "what must you not do" and "mark one answer" "mark three answers" not reading the questions fully can lose you a lot of marks.

Started learning about 5 years ago, failed and just never felt comfortable so I just stopped. John was a breath of fresh air, made me feel comfortable almost instantly, was an excellent teacher and answered all my questions no matter how small or stupid. I ended up passing first time under his tuition. Of course, I wasn't surprised because he had just taught my wife who also passed first time with him. 100% recommended đź‘Ś.

Friendly, professional and patient, Sam is a great teacher.

I’m an older learner driver so had concerns about how I would pick things up and how patient the instructor might be with me if I was a bit slower than a 17 year old. However, even after the first lesson with Johnny I was completely put at ease and felt so much more confident. He was extremely encouraging and positive and I felt he tailored his teaching methods to suit my learning style. I passed my test first time, which I would never have thought possible, thanks to his personable nature and style of teaching which really bolstered my confidence.

Huge thank you to Sam for helping me to pass my driving test on my first attempt, I couldn't have done it without her continuous guidance and support. Taking automatic lessons with Top Gear is one of the best things I've ever done and I can't recommend them enough - I never would have thought that I would love driving as much as I do now!

Best driving instructor in Glasgow! I passed first time with Johnny after being super nervous to try on busy U.K. roads. Johnny’s style is super relaxed, friendly and has a great way of boosting your confidence. Genuinely no question is too silly to ask. Johnny doesn’t just care that you pass - he makes sure that you are a top notch, safe and competent driver. If you’re looking for lessons, definitely book in with Johnny. I passed first time!
