Spirals started life in 2005, we decided to turn our passion for Fairtrade and world crafts into a little shop in our hometown of Hebden Bridge. Our little shop grew into a much bigger one when we got the chance to move to our current premises, a lovely light filled shop in the heart of Hebden Bridge.
Here we have two floors full of lovely fairtrade, handmade, eco-friendly and locally made goodies. With the Tour De France only days away, the shop and Hebden Bridge is bubbling with excitment for the Tour de Yorkshire Grande Depart this weekend! As a company we try and do what we can to be 'green' and also to contribute to our local community as well as the wider world.

Spirals started life in 2005. We had recently been awarded Fairtrade Town status and was then as it is now home to a vibrant community many of whom share our passion or creating a fairer world whilst tackling our serious and urgent environmental concerns. Our little shop grew into a much bigger one when we got the chance to move to our current premises, a lovely light filled shop in the heart.
We will endeavour to process your order on receipt, however please allow up to 4 working days for delivery. Delivery will be by Royal Mail or MyHermes depending on size. A signature may be required on delivery. For Europe delivery charge is 7, please allow up to 8 working days for delivery. To ensure your parcel reaches you, you can pay an extra 4.95 for signed for delivery.
Spirals brings you the best in fairtrade fashion and accessories. The heart of our collection is clothing by People Tree. Now stocked in big name stores on the high street, People Tree is a pioneer and leading light of true fairtrade fashion. Alongside this we offer a number of other fairtrade and earth-friendly clothing brands, and a wide range of fairtrade accessories to complement including contemporary bags, scarves and purses.
We now offer wedding gift services; simply tell your friends and relatives who would like to buy you a gift to buy you gift certificates for the shop instead. They can purchase these in-store or over the phone, and all you have to do is shop. Once you've been on honeymoon and had a chance to relax of course!
Scrummy ingredients like our natural unrefined fair trade sugar, creamy butter and sticky golden syrup are beaten togeth. Pop your spoon in a cup of hot milk and stir for 3 minutes or until the chocolate melts and you will get a cup of super. Multi-award winning box of delicious, creamy, rice milk chocolate pralines make the perfect gift or indulgent treat for.

A wonderful shop with lots of beautiful things, extremely helpful as well - I ordered a birthday gift for a friend and liz at the store was super helpful in suggestions, gift wrap and even writing in the card !!!!! Much needed in Covid times which makes getting gifts that much harder. Thanks for all your help ❤️

This shop houses a fabulous collection of well designed fair trade, ethical and upcycled or recycled items. From quirky trinkets to stylish clothing and unique, handmade furniture there is something for everyone in Spirals. We bought a fair trade seagrass mat, some upcycled wooden rulers refashioned into coat hooks and a coffee table. The coffee table is beautifully crafted and there's something really nice about owning a unique item of furniture made from reclaimed wood. When we enquired about delivery one of the lovely people who run the shop said she would be visiting Manchester the next day
