Services
Mansfield & District Funeral Service is a totally independent family owned and managed business and have an excellent reputation for helping families, by providing a professional and dignified service at their time of need. Over the last 25 years we have become experts at listening and guiding families at a very difficult time.
As an NAFD member we are expected to provide a professional service in line with our Code of Practice. We will advise you each step of the way, discussing with you all the options and ensuring you are clear as to the costs involved. We are there to support you and guide you on what you need to do and how to go about it.
After a person has died, you will need to contact their Doctor or the out of hours duty Doctor. If the death was in a nursing home the staff at the home will arrange for this to be done. Once the Doctor has confirmed that death has taken place and given permission for the deceased to be moved, you may ring your chosen Funeral Director.
We will explain the various fees and charges involved. Funeral arrangements are a matter of personal wishes and choice therefore the best way to obtain an estimate is by discussion with your Funeral Director. We will not rush you into making any decisions. We will send a fully itemised estimate before the funeral service with details of two items; "Our Charges" and the "Disbursements".

I could not recommend Chris and Andrea enough. They dealt with my father in laws funeral arrangements recently and made sure everything was perfect and I can honestly say they couldn’t have done enough for us. Chris kept myself in the loop constantly and went above and beyond to make sure that we as a family were supported throughout this tough time.

Chris Bradley funeral Director dealt with the funeral Arrangements of my late uncle Geoff Millward From the first call to the day of the funeral his cars where immaculate the coffin was a highly standard coffin the flowers where of high class the service sheets was lovely the non religious minister was very good his staff and himself well turned out in matching attire Chris dealt with all the family professional and very friendly having worked in the business my self I would highly recommend him to anyone he gave the family totally 100 per cent commitment . What a professional and caring funeral director he did my best friends funeral Lavern Barnets and what a wonderful send off she had nothing was to much trouble since then he has done serveral other friends and close family members wouldn’t go any where now he sorted everything out for us which was a great weight off us can’t thank him enough I highly recommend him such a lovely genuine man
