Our Physio Active team provide an excellent service in the prevention and treatment of all musculoskeletal pain and injury, irrespective of age or ability. I got a knee injury when running and it wasn't getting better on its own. This was my first time to a physio for a sports injury. Kirsten was very thorough and figured out what was actually causing the problem (not what I thought!).

Charlie set up Physio Active Healthcare in 2015 which started with one clinic in Theydon Bois and quickly expanded, to now having 8 clinics. Prior to this Charlie worked at Chelsea, Arsenal and Southend United Football Clubs where he worked with the first team and was also Head Academy Physio. Charlie studied at The University of East London and volunteered at the 2012 London Olympics.

A bike fit involves altering the 5 contact points (saddle, both pedals, handlebars) to optimize the angles of the ankle, knee, hip, shoulders and elbow joints. This ensures efficient use of the muscles and maximal comfort. Correct alignment of each body part, especially the knee over the foot, helps to reduce pain and prevent injury.
