Gaskells waste management services are tailored to your individual business needs. Efficient, cost effective waste management is now a priority for many companies in the UK. In fact, handling waste efficiently and responsibly is now so important that waste management services are increasingly considered to be the fifth utility service, alongside gas, electricity, water and telecoms.
Most businesses produce non-recyclable General Waste. While we are all making more of an effort at home, it can be more difficult to keep up a responsible waste disposal plan in a busy workplace. However, it is a legal requirement for all businesses in the UK to follow a 'Duty of Care' in ensuring the waste they produce is stored responsibly and only disposed of by businesses licensed to do so.

By separating food waste from your general waste you will reduce the frequency of service and will see significant weight reductions in your container. In addition to reducing your costs you will also ensure your food waste will be reprocessed to create eco-friendly fuels such as biogas through the Anaerobic Digestion process.
Gaskells offer glass waste disposal services in Merseyside, Wirral, Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester along with North Wales, Anglesey, Gwynedd and Mid-Wales. In most cases glass waste needs to be collected regularly. Due to its size and weight it can be problematic to store on site.
In high turnover industries like pubs, restaurants and nightclubs we work with our clients to design a bespoke collection schedule and provide suitable sized containers.Once your glass has been collected, we can make sure your waste glass finds a new life after being sorted, cleaned and sent on to glass repressors for further recovery.

Unreliable on collection days. Missed collection day repeatedly. Didn't inform me that they weren't coming. Always have an excuse when I phone up like vehicle broken down. I tried to cancel commercial waste contract but what they don't make clear when you sign up is that you are tied to a contract you can't get out of for two years at least unless you pay nearly £500 . READ THE SMALL PRINT

I've never had an issue with Gaskells - their customer service is always brilliant, the staff are so helpful and if there has ever been an issue they go above and beyond to get things sorted. On top of that, they're really environmentally friendly which is a big win for me. Would strongly recommend!

Horrendous Company if I could give a minus 10 star I would. put the prices up to double without any notice, charge me for 4 pick ups a month when I had 2 and doubled the price. Changed us £92 to pick up 2 bin bags apparently the bin bags where very heavy, considering we are a barbers I find that very hard to believe. Customer service is absolutely disgusting when trying to query the over charged amount. Basically make the rules up as they go along just to be awkward and charged me a further £250 to get out the contact. Avoid at all costs as they will find away to harass you for payment for a

Avoid at all costs.tried to cancel account even though contract has run out,told to look at T&C BECAUSE BASICALLY YOU ARE STUCK WITH THIS COMPANY FOR ANOTHER 12 MONTHS NEED TO GIVE 3-6 MONTHS NOTICE BEFORE CONTRACT EXPIRES.

Gaskells are the worst waste service we have ever used! I wished I’d read some of the reviews before signing the contract. We were told by their sales advisor that the contract was easy to leave if you’re not happy. This is not the case!! They have made us stay with them for nearly an additional 18 months and we’re still not out yet!!!! We’ve had missed collections. We’ve been invoiced for collections that have never happened and had to wait nearly 6 months for a credit note!! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I employed Gaskell Waste Services Ltd to takeover the collection of refuse from our school back in April this year. I have been totally happy with the service we have received so far and would recommend the company to anyone thinking of changing collectors or starting anew. I have found the customer service first class and any requests I have made have been acted upon immediately.

Horrible company. cancelled our contract on time. received a whole set of random bills with a whole set of random reasons. we have already paid the bill and now they are telling us to pay another 5 times. not at all recommended. customer service is absolute shocking, every time we call there seems to be no one at the company. you have to call so many times for someone to pick up the phone. Seems like no one can be bothered to actually provide some sufficient service at this shocking company. Absolutely shocked at the quality of service all round provided by this company. One of their wagons hit my van whilst it was stationary, they said they would fix it, two months on I have had my van fixed by my insurer, they have not reported the accident to their insurer and will not contact me when i phone or e-mail.
