Services
We are engaged to look after different types of business client. The different types of business client include Limited Companies, Sole traders, Partnerships, Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP), Clubs, Community Interest Companies (CIC), and non for profit organisations. Our service would deal with the compliance matters of the entity and offer quality, creative and effective business advice to the individual client.
A Limited Company is type of entity that is formed with share capital. UK companies are formed at Companies House and information is publicly disclosed. Limited Companies have directors that are the officers of the entity. They are responsible for the correct running of the entity and have obligations to run this in accordance with detailed rules and regulations.
A sole trader is a personal individual trading on their own. It is commonly used by startups that are unsure of the level of profitability that they will achieve. It is a simple and flexible way to trade and it is often a good start point for a number of individuals. We would review your personal circumstances, your business offering and forecasts to advise you on which entity suits your personal and business needs.
A Partnership is a collective of individuals that trade as one entity. There is no limit to the number of partners. It is an entity that again is used by startups and also clients with a large bank of assets. It is a flexible and simple structure that works very well for some clients and specific sectors.
Traditionally, this was used by professional trades such as accountants and solicitors that were unable to set up Limited Companies due to their governing bodies. An LLP is taxed as a partnership but has the Limited liability coverage of a Limited Company. We would review your circumstances and advise whether this was the correct entity for you.
