We offer an efficient, friendly and professional recycling, waste management, metal collection and disposal service for both commercial and private customers. We can supply and collect containers of all sizes, from wheelie bins to skips and lorries. Customers can also drop off any scrap metal to our site Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm, Saturday 8am - 12pm.
Services
Great Eastern Waste's compactor lorries are capable of collecting in excess of 10 tonnes of waste per trip, and compact most types of waste, including metal, plasterboard, carpet, wood and other construction waste. Each compactor waste removal lorry is fitted with a bin lift capable of lifting wheeling bins ranging from 240L to 660L.
Use fewer materials in the design and manufacturing process and keep up to date with the industry developments. These developments are designed to reduce waste, from pre-build and throughout the entire life of the project. A challenge to the management team to identify which components can be reused, refurbished, repaired, or re-implemented as spares, thus reducing waste and increasing revenues from what was previously considered waste.

I am absolutely shocked that my company has been dropping off bits of scrap metal to recycle throughout the year and now when i need to collect some money back, i called in advance and was told "i do not know how much you are owed and that its written on a bit of paper somewhere.....staff on holiday call back in next week(7days from now)".
This is totally unacceptable, poor record keeping and has left my family short when in fact i was saving all year to collect it now. I am actually upset and disappointed as money owed should of just been paid on each visit instead of an account that clearly

Having been to most yards on this side of the Thames I've found this one is the most tidy and orderly. To say that any scrap yard is clean would be a stretch but it certainly is very well maintained and properly laid out which has positive impact at operational level. Staff are polite, approachable and professional whilst service is always timely and efficient. Prices are always up to date. The best thing about this place is the stunningly beautiful young lady who bosses the place like she's been in the scrap metal business for fifty years even though she can't be more than 23 years old!

I have been going here for many years and always received a good service.
Payment is by Cash transfer(very fast), cheque and for people with no bank account a card that is charged and can be used at a cash point.
Prices are competitive with other yards, there is also a weighbridge for vehicles.Photo-ID is required(passport-drivers Licence) and an account can be set up.
