Hello my name is Amanda and I am the Owner of Pre-School Playhouse. I have worked in Childcare all my adult working life, It was always my passion to provide high quality childcare for pre-school children when I qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 1987.
My dream came true when Pre-School Playhouse was established in 1994 and for the past 20 years I have continued to provide high quality childcare in a warm, caring and friendly environment where children play and learn in a safe and secure environment.I spent many years managing Pre-school Playhouse full time before my twin girls were born in 2005.

Services
Preschool Playhouse is a private purpose built Day Nursery based in Ruislip Gardens. We have our own car park for easy drop off and pick up. We are conveniently located within walking distance of Ruislip Gardens Central Line Station. At Preschool Playhouse we provide a safe, caring and welcoming environment where every child is treated as an individual allowing them to grow in confidence and independence.
Pre-school Playhouse is registered and inspected in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework. The EYFS is a stage of children's development from birth to the end of their first year (Reception) in school. The EYFS Framework describes how Early Years practitioners work with children and their families to support their learning and development.
At Preschool Playhouse we know that a varied and nutritionally balanced diet is essential to your child's health and development. We are committed to providing good, healthy nutritious meals for the children in our care, all our meals are freshly prepared daily in our nursery kitchen.
Each week our menu provides a balance of protein foods featuring organic eggs from a chickens kept here at the nursery, Lamb, Pork, Chicken, Turkey, Fish and a Vegetarian option using a range of tasty recipes that rotate over a four week period.We encourage the children to have five servings of fruit and vegetables each day by adding them to recipes and serving fruit and raw vegetables at Tea and Snack times.

We are open 7:30am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year, except all bank holidays. Nursery fees are paid one month in advance. If a parent wishes to book hours that overlap into the next session then full fees will be charged. PLEASE NOTE: A deposit equivalent to two weeks fees is payable to secure a nursery place.
It is our policy to work as closely as possible with parents/carers to give the children in our care the best possible experience at nursery, and support in their development. We do this by encouraging parents/carers to speak to staff about their concerns, questions and keeping us up to date with events taking place in their child's life.
