At Laser Optical Engineering we have extensive experience in the area of Research & Development having worked on projects from both government and privately funded sources. An example of this is our ExDtect which provides real-time stand-off explosive residue detection. The system can be remotely operated and provide automated warnings.
Our team of experienced engineers are on hand to offer advice on the product(s) best suited to your requirement should you require it and can also offer advice on Laser Safety aspects. Our Laser Safety Cabinets are manufactured in house by our team of qualified engineers and we are therefore able to offer bespoke designs in such areas as overall cabinet size, cable entry and door sizes to suit your requirements.
We offer bespoke, fully configurable laser laser interlock systems, known as iNTELLILOCK, to provide laser safety control systems for any laser set-up. Personalised RFID logon, restricting access to pre-authorised personnel during pre-authorised work times. We supply both standard and bespoke laser safety cabinets suitable for use in industrial, production and research environments.
Working in conjunction with Police Service Northern Ireland (PSNI) and UK Home Office/CAST, we have developed an effective method of protecting public order officers and pilots from attacks by laser pointers. The laser visor strips are provided with fitting instructions and a lens cleaning wipe to allow easy installation by the user.
