The Director of the company is Richard Hipsey. Richard manages and runs the business supported by his partner Lynn Turner who takes responsibility for the day to day running and keeping in touch with customers. Richard learned his trade working for a market leading renovation company and this is where he gained his in-depth knowledge and experience of working with and renovating traditional sash windows.

CRAFT WORX are restoring windows to their former glory one by one across Central Scotland. Working in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Fife, Dunoon including more remote and rural locations. We are a small business who are dedicated to providing a complete quality service from start to finish which is built on trust and meeting individual customer expectations.
What happens if any unforeseen work is required which was not detailed on the survey? Our survey is such in terms of its detail that there are rarely additional works as we are very thorough. However due to the nature of our work, sometimes when we work with historic windows additional work may be required that could not be quantified at the survey.
Each window will be assessed internally and externally where possible and we will discuss what each individual window requires with you. Once you are happy for us to proceed, we will arrange a suitable date to commence and determine the timescale for the work to be completed. If any additional work is uncovered during the renovation we will discuss options with you before proceeding.
Our environmental commitments are taken seriously. Not only does timber offer elegance, warmth and safety to your home, it is also beneficial to the environment. Timber is the ultimate sustainable and recyclable material. It requires low energy consumption to process, and is thermally efficient in use.
We're very happy with the work, and everyone is happily opening and closing windows, just because they can. Additionally Skye asked for her lightweight duvet back today, since she is so warm at night now. We're almost looking forward to winter, in anticipation of it being so much less draughty. We've really appreciated how hard.
