I called Rapid Locksmiths on the 17th September 2021 for a lock to be replaced on my gate and for a nightlatch to be affixed to my front door.
The call out fee was R195, which I agreed to upfront. They then placed a new lock on the gate and affixed a Bird night latch to my front door. They then gave me a bill of R4,310 payable immediately, after they claimed 20% discount! Which means their original cost was R 5,387.50 for fitting 2 locks!!!
For the back door I used a different locksmith who fitted an Xpanda gate and Yale lock for just over half the price of these guys (including the cost of the
