From small beginnings to a bright future. A page dedicated to the history of Alpha Sign Systems and a brief description of our skills and services as well as meeting our dedicated team. In 1988, Alpha Sign Systems was formed with 2 originating members of staff. From small beginnings, we were soon winning major clients such as Williams F1, for whom we supplied and installed all display graphics and signage for their new museum in Didcot.
We offer the full package when it comes to sign making. To provide our clients with a proffesional service and a high quality end product, we aim to manage the entire process in-house from initial consultation to installation. To ensure your investment is maintained, each project, once installed on site, will have the offer of a full maintenance programme carried out by our Engineers.
Alpha Sign Systems worked with structural engineers and steel fabricators to design the structural supports of the signage. The fabricated steel was intricately designed to have minimal impact on the fabricated aluminium letters but calculated against wind loadings.
Alpha Sign Systems took the sketches from the structural engineers and composed 2D elevational drawings for planning purposes and for the steel fabricators to produce the bespoke metal work.Our studio created the 3D rendered visuals to show how the signage will look on the steel supports. The renders assisted our in-house production and installation teams as well as explaining the construction to the client.

Alpha Sign Systems worked with Specialized UK to create the concept for the Turbo Entrance tunnel integrating the unique shop-fit display system with bespoke manufacture, CNC engraving facilities and state of the art LED lighting. From sketch to creation! Our in-house 3D department turned the clients brief into a working production drawing.
Alpha Sign Systems worked with Zest Design & Marketing to produce the signage for The Forum located in Birmingham City centre. The 11 storey building comprises of 334 apartments. The brief was to manufacture and install the external building signage and internal way finding along with featured communal signage.
