At M we believe that hair should be simply beautiful. We create attractive shapes that enhance the look and feel of your hair which will compliment your individuality. As a Sassoon Partner salon, our team are trained to the highest standards so you can guarantee that the result will be beautiful, manageable hair that you can enjoy day after day.
Think of this as similar to booking a hotel last minute. We may have, for a variety of reasons, appointments during any day that become available. If your lifestyle allows you to be flexible with your appointments, we offer the opportunity to grab a Cut & Finish. Here at M we have a loyalty point scheme.
A bespoke hairdressing boutique based in Bishop's Stortford, our philosophy is simple: We specialise in fresh, versatile styles that are easy to manage between visits and which are tailor-made to the individual. Our team of highly trained stylists share a passion for hairdressing and a commitment to excellence.
The salon was established in 2006 with the aim of creating a completely relaxing, friendly and modern atmosphere for our clientele, while at the same time giving them an extremely professional and quality service. The minimum standards of our stylists and technicians are for them to become Sassoon trained, and to have completed their Master Colour Expert qualification with Wella (our professional product of choice).
We want everyone to have the best possible experience when they visit us at M and so we have some guidelines to make sure that you can take time out and relax. We discourage the use of mobile phones and respectfully request that they are on silent ring when you are in the salon. However, because we do not want to keep anyone waiting we may have to shorten/change your appointment if your stylist/technician has another guest immediately after you.

Had a booking with Kevin, lovely guy who makes you feel at ease straight away. Knowledge is second to none, so allowed him to chop away. Not easy as I'm growing out my hair, so need it to be tamed and look presentable. Brilliant job and really happy with result. Looking forward to my next visit in 8 weeks 👌

I had my first appointment today with Cassie. I had previously been to a different hair dressers where there had been a problem with my hair colour, it had not come out the way I wanted. On speaking with Cassie, she was able to fox my hair- exactly the colour I was hoping for and she gave a great cut too. My hair is a weird mix of wavy and curly so I am always nervous when I see someone new- but she did a great job- I love my hair! She was professional and friendly- I will definitely be coming back!

My stylist was Lauren. I’m absolutely thrilled with my new hair! I had a completely new change of style and colour. I recommend a consultation because Lauren really listened to what I wanted and made great suggestions. During my appointment she was great, and attentive at all times. I had opted for some subtle foil highlights and after the first try I thought they were too light so Lauren immediately added toner to darken them. I am thrilled with my new hair! Lauren made me feel super at ease and made it clear she didn’t want me to leave unless I was happy! And I really was! Beautiful salon
