Radial Pressure Wave Shockwave Therapy (RPSWT) is a non-invasive treatment for soft tissue injuries. Radial pressure waves directed to the site of the injury produce localised physiological effects which relieve pain and promote tissue repair by activating the body's natural healing processes.

Clinical research and trials have shown that RPW Shockwave Therapy is effective in treating problems that have failed other forms of treatment and there are NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) guidelines for its use. There are studies that show that RSW therapy is more effective when combined with rehabilitation exercises.
Clinical Pilates is specifically used for rehabilitation from conditions such as low back pain, sports injury or following surgery and is carried out under the supervision of rehabilation professionals such as physiotherapists who have post graduate qualifications in clinical Pilates. Our physiotherapist Michelle is able to offer clinical Pilates on an individual basis.
