Originally built in 1732 for Benjamin Hoare, the founder of Hoare Bank in London, Boreham House today is the only independently owned Stately Home in Essex. Boreham House has also been listed by English Heritage as one of the most important buildings in the South East Region. The building itself stayed in the Hoares family until 1785 before going through the hands of several judges and parliamentary members until 1931, when Henry Ford bought it.
Gosfield Hall is a Grade I listed building near Braintree in Essex. Built in 1545 by Sir John Wenworth, a member of Cardinal Wolsey's Household, the property has seen a lot of royalty in its time. For example, Gosfield Hall hosted royal visits by Queen Elizabeth I and, later, during the French Revolution, it became the home of the future King Louis XVIII and his wife, as well as 350 courtiers and staff!
Located half a mile from Hatfield Peverel in Essex, Hatfield Place is a historic Georgian Country House set within fifteen acres of mature parkland. Exclusively yours for the day, amaze your guests on arrival as they approach the venue via a tree-lined driveway and watch as it gives way to a large gravelled sweep in front of this carefully restored home.
In 1220, Sir Ralph Gernon founded the first priory that stood on this site for Augustinian priests. Unfortunately, during Henry VIII's reign, the dissolution of the monasteries in 1536 led to its downfall. However, in 1546, Lord Rich of Leigh's (Leez) set about building a Tudor mansion in Essex, and part of it exists as Leez Priory today.

Richard has been unbelievable. From the moment we first met he has made us feel relaxed about the whole process. He was very clear in all his correspondence before the wedding and kept in contact with us throughout the build up. He arrived early on the day and was really careful about giving us all space without missing any important moments. Richard has grabbed some amazing shoots of us at different times throughout the day. We are so happy with the lovely couple photographs but the party shots are our faves. Richard was also happy to share a huge amount of the photos on Facebook! Such gorgeous
