I've been using Baldwin Cox for the last few years and always found them friendly, professional and responsive. There have been no hidden costs or aggressive correspondence when dealing with myself. Most of my accounts are now conveniently done via email which saves me a lot of time and money. If there's ever any problems, I'll always make an appointment and pop in the office. The prices are below most of the competitors and I am happy to continue using their services for the foreseeable future

I wasn't confident, in claiming on my own, a tax rebate connected to a personal pension plan payout initially taxed at higher rate when cashed in by me.
I saw one of the accountants there to discuss the issue. He came over as very pleasant and professional. I agreed verbally to instruct them to get the tax back for me. While communication back had been excellent via email before I went for the appointment, it wasn't quite so good after it, with one email I sent with required information they'd asked me to send, not responded to at all.
I then rang the Revenue about the rebate and was advised
