One of the core business areas of the instructions received by FinleyHarrison is for the production of fast track pre-acquisition surveys to meet client acquisition deadlines for investment purposes. FinleyHarrison recognises that no two properties, nor instructions, are the same and we pride ourselves with the ability to identify the specific requirements of an individual client tailoring reports to suit objectives.
FinleyHarrison have been involved with a great variety of construction projects from simple minor works to complex building contracts. The value of works range from a few thousand pounds to more than 5 million. The professional involvement, depending of the nature of the work, has been in the role of project managers, contract administrators, development monitors and/or cost consultants.
FinleyHarrison have extensive experience in preparing fire insurance reinstatement valuations for insurance purposes as well as negotiating with loss adjusters the quantum of loss suffered. We can organise the appropriate remedial works should claims arise as a result of subsidence, accidental damage, flood or fire.
FinleyHarrison, being based in the City of London, have been acting upon party wall matters since the practice was established and continue to do so. We are well qualified and have in-depth experience to advise building and/or adjoining owners of commercial and residential properties of their liabilities and rights bestowed on them by the Act throughout the country.

Not great at all. Steve Finley was supposed to oversee the contractors performing major works on our building. Despite being paid to do this, he failed. No snagging was performed, no trace of works carried out but the works were signed off as complete. Had the audacity to attend the Tribunal to argue that works were carried out, instead of apologising for his shortcomings. Cost us a lot of money and headache.
