Our eight spacious rooms have either a stunning outlook over St Hilda's Church or views out to sea. All of our individually styled spacious rooms are en-suite and, together with comfortable beds, fluffy towels, flat screen televisions, quality toiletries and wi-fi throughout, you will have everything you need for the perfect stay.
New for 2022 we are proud to present Chubb Hill Retreat our self catered luxury apartment with private secure parking. Located opposite the award-winning Pannett Park, this stunning lift serviced apartment is just 10 minutes walk into Whitby harbour yet comes with the benefit of secure private parking.
At The Belfry Whitby we believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and best enjoyed in our bright and spacious dining room overlooking the Gothic Saint Hilda's Church. Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:30, allowing you plenty of time make the most of the day ahead or stay in bed that little bit longer.
As with the majority of guest accommodation in Whitby, on-street parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Everyone staying at The Belfry will be given complimentary parking permit for their stay. So on arrival, please double-park your car outside the guest house and collect your permit from our front porch.

The Belfry strikes a great balance between that traditional BnB/Guesthouse warm coziness, and a clean modern hotel environment. The owners are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The facilities go above and beyond expectations (e.g. such a wide variety of hot drinks available in the room, and a similar variety of options for breakfast). Although I was apprehensive of on-street parking at first, the parking pass provided by the Belfry makes parking in the vicinity of the accommodation very, very easy. Overall, the Belfry provided everything I could've asked for on my first Whitby visit.

Fabulous b&b this place is spotless and the decor is done to a high standard. Phil & Sophie are great hosts so friendly & welcoming breakfast is top class too. We have been coming here for a number of years now and won't stay anywhere else great location too. Well done to Phil & Sophie for all their hard work.

Stayed in room 8 which was right at the top (you need to be fit to climb all the stair) once there was not disappointed, spacious room, comfy bed and sofa fantastic shower room. Hospitality tray with assorted teas, coffees, hot chocolate and fresh water and biscuits, also fresh milk from guest fridge on one of the landings.
Breakfast perfectly cooked and with daily specials .stayed in other B&B's in Whitby but this has been the best .

5 stars all day every day! Was greeted at the door by who I believe was Phil? But could be wrong. Either way the chap was very polite, welcoming and helpful. The place is spotless even in the main hallway. Room was bright clean, warm and nicely decorated.
Stayed here for work but will definitely look to come back in future and hopefully explore the area some more.
