The government has issued official guidance telling people in the early stages of buying or selling their home to delay the transaction while emergency measures were in place. It said that no visitors were allowed into properties, including estate agents, surveyors and potential buyers. Building Surveyors north London we undertake both Building Surveys (formerly known as Structural Surveys) and Homebuyer reports.
Building surveys of industrial and commercial properties provide clients with advice on the condition and suitability of proposed premises for occupation and investment. A condition survey can form a standalone assessment of the physical condition of the property at a moment in time.

Sounded great on the phone and was able to book in a survey for my flat very quickly. I was told that I would have a verbal report within two days of the survey and that I would be emailed a written report within about a week and then get a hard copy in the post shortly after that. Perfect! If only it was that easy.
My survey happened on Friday 19th May. I finally got a verbal report after me ringing them twice on Monday 26th May (10 days later). The flat is old and the survey revealed a lot of work which needed doing. I therefore wanted to negotiate on the asking price and needed the report ASAP
