Services
After many years as a partner in a well-known local firm of chartered surveyors, Simon co-founded Camel Homes in 2002. He now heads up our Commercial Department, specialising in retail sales and management. In his spare time, he is an enthusiastic golfer, a lover of rugby and cricket, and a proven amateur grass-cutter and stone-wall builder.
We are an independent family-owned firm of residential and commercial estate agents situated in the popular seaside village of Perranporth on the North coast of Cornwall. We have been established since 2002 and are now the largest agent for property sales in Perranporth and the surrounding area. We specialise in the sale of residential properties and the sale, letting and management of shops and other commercial premises.
When you decide to sell your property with Camel Homes we will initially arrange a convenient inspection to provide you with a free written market appraisal. This will summarise the property detail, explain our valuation and marketing recommendations and outline the terms upon which we would act as your agent.
Our Commercial Department can advise on the sale, letting and management of shops and other commercial premises. Our Commercial Department in Perranporth is headed by Simon Dowling who is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents.
The Property Ombudsman (TPO) provides fair and reasonable resolutions to disputes between members of the public and estate agents who are members of the TPO Scheme or who have registered with the TPO Approved Estate Agents Redress Scheme. Firms who are members, follow the TPO Code of Practice for Residential Sales.

Excellent service and support. I sold my property, which was non-standard construction (mundic - very common in Cornwall) and so not mortgageable. Camel inspected the property and gave me a realistic market valuation and advertised the property.
Camel found a buyer quickly, within a matter of weeks. Once the buyer was found, the very nice people at Camel were always communicating between me and the buyer and the two sets of conveyancers. I know that I found this communication very reassuring and I am sure that the buyer did, too.
