Services
Talus Partnership Ltd are highly experienced Chartered Building Surveyors and Construction Project Managers, practicing primarily in Greater London and the South of England. This depth of experience provides Talus with a valuable understanding of the building and property industry, in both the private and public sectors.
Talus acts as Project Manager on a range of different types of construction projects. This involves using a combination of our knowledge, skills and processes in order to meet the requirements of any given scheme. We strives to achieve the right balance in order to ensure that the project provides the best value, measured in terms of its objective and satisfaction of the requirements against its resource utilisation.
One of the core services of the Talus Partnership Ltd is party wall surveying services under the core legislation of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 (the Act). This appointment is a personal appointment which the principle has been providing to clients large and small for in excess of 20 years.

Many domestic clients are either unaware that this legislation covers extension building work or loft conversion works, but the practice is able to help owners negotiate their way through this approval process in as quick a timescale as possible and in the most cost effective way.
In certain development situations the need to either oversail a crane jib or boom or the need to trespass with scaffolding onto a neighbours land is the only cost effective way to proceed. We have extensive experience in progressing such negotiations to obtain approval to such situations, which is usually formalised by the signing of a 'licence', either under hand or as a deed.
We have developed particular knowledge in a number of areas which enables us to provide advice to our Client's with specialist expertise. Schedules of Condition are required when it is necessary to record details of the present condition of the property.

This can occur when work is being carried out to an adjoining property which may cause damage, or alternatively, at the commencement of a lease so that any further deterioration during the term can be identified.A schedule of condition could be described as a verbal photograph of a room or area.
