My great grandfather was also called George Robinson, and I have his name tag on the tool box I use today. He was a master carpenter and made many of his own tools; they are as good now as they were a hundred years ago. Perhaps this has given me my concern for the environment, which is an integral part of my working philosophy.
We use wood from sustainable forests as much as we can, and the appliances we fit are chosen in part for being energy efficient. I am anxious that we hand on not only our tools but also the kitchen furniture we make as an inheritance to future generations. One of my passions is for my allotment and the vegetables I grow there.

Services
A strong emphasis on line and form breathes energy into a contemporary styled kitchen where less is more and every element counts. This streamlined look celebrates open space and high impact furniture combining a mixture of materials, shapes and scale with sleek, innovative appliances. Add classic style to a listed building, period property or character home with an impeccably tailored and quintessentially English heritage style kitchen.
At George Robinson Kitchens, we are committed to designing and creating a beautiful kitchen that will complement and enhance the style of your home and your life. George keeps the customer at the centre of his experienced and personal service. With his team, he undertakes the complete process of creating truly beautiful bespoke kitchens, from initial consultation and advice through the design, manufacture and installation stages.
Here at GRK we are often asked to recycle, or add vintage elements to our kitchen designs and on this basis, we often come across beautiful vintage finds. Etsy is a vibrant online marketplace, focused on items that are handmade or vintage, the perfect place to find something that little bit different!
We are committed, as a Company, to minimising damage to the environment, and we believe that our clients have a similar commitment. We and they are increasingly aware of the effects of landfill, traffic and air pollution, and the need to conserve natural resources such as wood; we are rightly held to account for our role in protecting our environment.
The concept of tradition is not new, at George Robinson Kitchens. Tradition informs the methods used to manufacture aesthetically beautiful kitchens and furniture, giving them durability and sustainability at a time when everything that we use, and reuse, become increasingly important. GRK furniture, which is sometimes traditional in style, sometimes contemporary, creates 'new traditions' in design.

GRK designed and replaced our cottage kitchen on a tight timeline. The experience was outstanding, because of the talented, thoughtful and flexible attitude of everyone from GRK we worked with. George and the team he has assembled are nothing short of remarkable. The beautiful quality and design of the final product, and the enduring desire of GRK to make sure their product continues to perform well, shows their incredible pride of workmanship.

I am so happy with my George Robinson Kitchen which was transported from the GRK workshop in Cornwall all the way to my home in Portugal!
It is without a doubt the best kitchen I have ever had the pleasure of owning and several features of the design including my huge larder cupboard are features that I now could not imagine living without!
