At St. Mary & St. Joseph's we strive to provide children with the skills necessary to explore and succeed in a world driven by technology. We also aim to keep children safe on line, educating them on good practice (or netiquette), and the potential dangers of the internet. At present, the internet is full of wonderful free programs that we take full advantage of in school.
The St Mary and St Joseph's Primary School (SMSJ) Physical Education provision ensures that children experience a safe and supportive environment that helps build a lifelong passion for sport and health. We recognise that for children to be able to perform in PE with increased confidence and competence and to advance knowledge, skills and understanding, a holistic approach is needed.

Hope in the Future was launched for all the schools within the Diocese of Salford. It is an idea based on 7 steps to building our Parish communities and the roles of schools within this community. The work of our first team continues to grow and develop every year. We thank the children that helped to introduce the G.I.F.T team to our school.
