I established my driving school, Rushworth School of Motoring, in 1999, having previously worked as Factory Manager for a food manufacturing company. I pride myself on giving quality driving instruction to the highest standards, in order to achieve this I have taken lots of additional training.

It is proven that people learn better when in a relaxed environment, I strive to make your lessons both enjoyable and productive by planning each session specific to the training needs for that particular lesson.

It doesn't matter whether you are a nervous first-timer, enthusiastic knowledgeable starter or experienced person who needs to improve your skills, I will tailor your training to suit you! The goal is to prove you can drive safely and independently in all road and traffic situations.

So this is precisely what you will be taught to do, some will take longer than others, but my aim is to get everyone to that standard and make the learning process as enjoyable as possible.All of my driving lessons are on a one-to-one basis, so no picking others up or dropping off as this is not a good use of your time or money!

Don't be afraid to ask for help! If you are not sure of how to do something, haven't driven for a while or feel nervous about sitting back behind the wheel. Whatever the reason: contact me and we can work together to regain that confidence. Not everybody is taught how to reverse properly, nobody has stickers or numbers in the windows of their own cars to line things up with.

Although statistically motorways are the safest roads in terms of the number of casualties in Britain, they are the place where if things go wrong then it will most likely be the worst type of road accident that you will have! It is also the area where no pre-test training can take place. So why risk yourselves or your loved one's safety by hoping that you will pick up enough information or skill before something unthinkable happens.
