My career in Horticulture has spanned over a decade, working in a variety of roles. 4 years was spent at the historic gardens at Cricket St Thomas, Somerset where I worked my way up to the position of Head Gardener. I bring those skills now into domestic houses and gardens.
I have complimented the hands on experience with formal qualifications including RHS Level 2 Principles of Horticulture, and a separate Diploma in Horticulture studied at the famous East Lambrook Manor, home of the late Margery Fish.To break my outlook down to it's most simple form, I am pro wildlife, pro nature.

My professionaI garden maintenance service is aimed at clients who place a high value on their garden and want someone who knows what they are doing to care for it. Whilst I can offer the more basic elements of garden maintenance, my skills and experience are often more value for money when a finer approach is desired.

Excellent service, pruning a very unruly wisteria. Simon's knowledge is great and we were very confident to follow his recommendations which seemed a little drastic, but the end result looks like it'll be fab in spring when the wisteria flowers. Good value for money as well.

Simon provided an excellent service (despite the appalling weather) in pruning my very unruly wisteria. From my initial contact he was a pleasure to deal with, responding within 24 hours and answering any questions that I had. On the day, the work was carried out to my complete satisfaction and the cost was extremely reasonable. I can not recommend him highly enough to anyone looking for a professional gardener.

We cannot recommend Simon Land highly enough. He is currently undertaking a redesign of our garden and he is a pleasure to work with. Simon is very knowledgable and incredibly hard working. We have collaborated with him on choice of plants and trees, taking his great recommendations on-board. We also have an annual maintenance plan in place with Simon and our garden has never looked better. Thank you Simon.
