Timms Solicitors have been established since 1892 and have over 125 years of providing advice and guidance for clients. Here at Timms, we have five Partners; Fiona Moffat, Lisa Collett, Tessa Dunleavy, Jo Robinson and Matthew Rice, who manage over 50 members of staff across four locations; Derby, Ashby, Swadlincote and Burton.
Matt is a Solicitor in our Commercial Property department. Principally based in our Ashby and Derby offices, he qualified in 2012 and joined the firm in 2015, having previously worked in Leicester and Northampton.

We used Timms in Swadlincote for both the sale and purchase of our house.
Julie has been incredibly helpful during the process, especially with dealing with other solicitors firms who weren't quite so good!

Awful experience with Timms. Purchasing our first house was supposed to be exciting but unfortunately this was lost with the very frustrating process and total lack of competetance. We had to do all the chasing ourselves with the vendors/solicitors else nothing would of been completed. Was recommended by a friend but will consider going elsewhere in the future.

I have moved 17 times over the years and used at least 15 solicitors. Timms have been the best that I have ever used. All the work was done by e-mail , as agreed, to keep costs down and also to ensure that things kept moving along with the minimum of fuss. Loads of common sense used by Timms when facing issues. No problems just solutions.
Overall I was very impressed indeed and will use them again for sure.
A difficult time as this sale was for my late sister but it reall couldn't have gone any better.
