Robert Adair Jewellers on Mill Street has been a trusted family business in Ballymena for many years now. Here's how it all started. Robert Adair trained and served his time as a watchmaker both in Ireland and London, then opened his first shop in his hometown of Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Robert met and married Myrtle and in 1957 they set up Robert Adair Jewellers at 12 Mill Street, Ballymena.

We can offer same day ring sizing, adjustments to jewellery and personalised engraving on any item we sell.

I was very disappointed with the ring re-sizing service provided by Adairs. I took their guidance with a re size and it was too large. I had again to pay to get it made smaller which I left in their hands as regards size and its now too small. In all I've paid twice(£80) to get a ring re-sized which I now still can't wear at all. The ring didnt cost much more than that. The whole exchange was very unpleasant and I had to argue with staff for my right to get it re sized at less than full price again. In short, perhaps go elsewhere to get a ring re sized and definitely dont take their guidance on
