We're getting more known for the growing collection of truly original greeting cards that 'say it like it is' and a variety of Geordie and Northern themed cards (Good Crack). If you're after super Souvenirs we've got all sorts from magnets to tea towels and the essential postcards, now located in our new dedicated indepedent Souvenir Shop right across the road at 6 Dean Street which we've aptly named Souvenirs upon Tyne.

I wanted a framed print from the gift shop and as I knew they had been popular, I messaged the shop to ask if they had them in stock. They had and I asked if one could be kept aside for me which wasn’t a problem. It was getting late, and I wasn’t sure where to park as they were closing in a couple of hours so I said I would collect it another day but they were going to be closed and I needed it for the day after. I said I wasn’t sure where to park, and they said I could drive to the shop, put the hazards on outside and a member of staff would pop out with the card reader and the

If Carlsberg did Gifts Shop, they probably couldn't do better that this one :-)
UpSide Down Presents is simply a fantastic gift shop, small in stature on the outside, but full of character, great gifts, warm welcomes and friendly staff on the inside.
Their range of cards, pictures and gifts is second to non in Newcastle.
I find that when I pop in I end up buying stuff, then wondering who I can give it to, only to have second thoughts and keep it for myself :-).
Lovely people, friendly atmosphere, amazing products and a great customer service. Keep up the good work.

This hidden gem of a shop has a great range of unique cards and gifts to suit every occasion. I have received many compliments about the cards and presents I have bought from here as they stand out from the norm. I’ve always found the staff to be helpful and friendly and I’d highly recommend a visit.
