Emma's Day Nursery aims to provide an individually tailored pre-school learning experience for children aged between two and five. Learning and Development is planned and managed by Emma Henwood, an experienced and qualified teacher of both Early and Primary years.
Emma's Day Nursery at 46 West Way, offers learning in the safe and familiar surroundings of a home environment to ensure children are given every opportunity to develop their own self-confidence, social awareness and learning skills.The Nursery is open all year, except for specified holidays, Monday to Friday each week from 08.00 to 17.30.

Services
The Nursery and Pre School are operated under Emma's Day Nursery Ltd, wholly owned by teachers, Emma Henwood and her husband, Mark. Emma entered teaching in 1995 as a Primary school teacher with Early Years specialism and subsequently qualified as an Early Years Professional and has worked as an OFSTED Inspector of Early years provision.

Emma's Day Nursery Pre-School at The Annunciation Church Hall, offers learning in the safe and secure surroundings of our welcoming parish hall. Children are given every opportunity to develop their own self-confidence, social awareness and learning skills. The Pre-School is open school term times only - typically for 38 weeks each year.
A pre-arranged visit to view the Nursery or Pre-School and discuss our offer in detail. 2. Admissions are subject to availability and our admissions policy. If you wish to book a place for your child, we will ask you to complete an application form, agree our terms and pay a deposit to reserve a space.

Emma's Day Nursery changed from a sole trading business to a Limited Company in 2016 - although the actual owners, management and operations remained unchanged in entirety.This meant that we could not officially retain our previous Ofsted reports.
