From arts and crafts to music and games, we are privileged to be able to offer a wide range of activities and to be able to spend quality time with every single resident.
At Deeside, our bedroom suites have recently been upgraded and fitted with the highest standards, providing residents with both space and comfort, ready for them to make their own. We welcome and encourage all of our residents to personalise their rooms in a way that feels homely to them, whether that be through well-cherished photographs, decorations, or even small furniture items.
The food we put into our body has a far greater impact on our health as we become older, and we understand that positive mealtime experiences lead to great overall effects on our wellness. At Deeside, we let our residents choose how they want to spend their mealtimes, to allow them to dine with dignity and maintain their freedom.

Lunch soup was plopped in front of her, next course menu was placed in front of her, she no longer can read. I witnessed a gentleman being fed and it was awful to see, the food was being shuffled in at the rate of naughts and it was going every where, not a word was spoken by the carers to the residents. The only words that were spoken was abrupt and in broken English, also

A relative who stayed here had their money, jewellery and personal possessions go missing. The elderly person was treated as just another number by the staff who were rude and was constantly left on their own in their room (often being found in dirty soiled clothing). There was also very little activities or opportunities for social contact.
