MCSP HPC reg, Grad Dip Phys, AACP. Mark is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years experience. He graduated in 1986 at Manchester Withington School of Physiotherapy, becoming a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health Professions Council. He is also an accredited member of the Acupunture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice.
BPC provides individual assessment and treatment for a variety of injuries and conditions. The clinic specialises in the treatment of spinal conditions and work-related disorders (RSI) affecting office workers and musicians as well as sports injuries and other general conditions.
An initial physiotherapy consultation consists of a detailed history-taking to include the history of the presenting condition, contributing factors, previous medical history and treatments etc.A physical examination is then carried out and from this, a clinical diagnosis can be reached. A proposed treatment programme is then outlined and functional outcomes are agreed.

Blackpool Physiotherapy Centre (BPC) consists of a team of expert physiotherapy clinicians. We specialise in the physiotherapy treatment of musculo-skeletal pain. All of our physiotherapists are highly qualified, Chartered Physiotherapists with a minimum of 6 years post-graduate experience and many hold post-graduate physiotherapy diplomas or Masters Degrees.
The Blackpool Physiotherapy Centre is centrally located at the REAR of 22 Whitegate Drive in Blackpool (near to Devonshire Square /No. 3 Pub) at the end of the Drive. We have dedicated off road parking bays (Bay numbers 1 to 4) in front of the centre for limited mobility and disabled patients. Alternatively 1 or 2 hr limited time parking is available on the adjacent roads of Whitegate Drive, Brian Rd, Leeds Rd, and Leamington Road.
BPC is recognised by the major private health insurance companies for physiotherapy treatment. Often, a patient has to be referred by their GP or specialist in order to claim the cost of their physiotherapy treatment through their private medical insurance. We do strongly recommend that patients contact their insurance company before commencing treatment to check and confirm individual policy conditions relating to a claim.

Slightly off the beaten track set back from the main road but a hidden jem for physiotherapy needs. Thorough staff will usually start with a longer diagnostic first session to identify problems and then offer various treatments (ultrasound, massage, acupuncture and more) depending on your preferences and budget. Also good with after care if you need to ask a question over the phone they are always willing to help.
