Sophie is our founder, a highly qualified Chartered Financial Planner, Associate of the Personal Finance Society and Registered Life Planner, driven by making a positive difference to our clients' lives and being proud of the work we do for them.
When first contemplating a career in financial planning, Sophie was told (by a financial adviser, no less) that she was "too clever to be an IFA", which she took as a compliment and decided to do it anyway, earning distinctions in numerous areas and becoming one of very few advisers to have achieved both Chartered status and the Registered Life Planner title.

From day one, Cleverly Planned was set up to be securely operational from anywhere at any time, so there will be absolutely no reduction in service if we are unable to attend our office or see you in person. We will remain (virtually) by your side.

I contacted Cleverly Planned last autumn having been left in a difficult predicament with respect to my retirement planning by another firm. Sophie and Ben have both been extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful in resolving my situation to very tight timescales and enabling me to retire last September. This past weekend my husband and I celebrated our one year of retirement. The first half of that retirement proved difficult due to advice given about our pensions, however, we moved to Cleverly Planned mid year and the process could not have gone any better. Sophie and Ben are very knowledgeable, have a great process in place and were immediately able to take away any pressure we had previously felt.

We met with Sophie for an initial consultation and decided we'd definitely be going ahead with Cleverly Planned for our financial planning. The aspect that really drew us to CP was the life planning element, it made so much sense to focus on what we want from life and how to make money work towards that rather than the other way round. The whole process has been really easy and has provided us with a lot of reassurance regarding our future. Would definitely recommend!

We have worked with Sophie twice over the past 3 years - firstly to help devise a long term plan, and secondly to refine this due to some life changes. Sophie's approach is excellent and she took time to understand our life goals, before even starting to look at financials. As a couple, we always shared a goal to sail around the world ... one day!
