Ideal for both business or pleasure, even the train/bus stations are within walking distance of us.

Thats how central we are! Here at Ash Grove we are focused on providing a high quality service and customer satisfaction. We will try and do everything we can to meet your expectation. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
Services
Though we have refurbished all our rooms with new modern fitting bathrooms and tastefully decorated each room individually, as you can appreciate it is never ending. There is always something to do. Recently we had the fireplace in the dining room stripped back to when the house was built exposing the original brick but yet have to complete it with a burner that I can't find.
Our beautiful single room is far from standard situated on the first floor facing the front of the house. Beautifully fitted out with modern oak furniture, bed desk and wardrobe. A generous hospitality tray with tea/coffee making facilities. A flat screen LCD TV mounted on the wall with access to Wi-Fi internet.
We pride ourselves on our locally sourced breakfast, which is cooked to order, we have been praised highly on both Booking.com and Trip Advisor. You will met by myself or a member of staff and shown in to the breakfast room situated on the ground floor to the front of the house. With itas original open fireplace large and bay window with views of Kings Road and the Harrogate International Centre.

If you want a peaceful night's sleep then don't stay here. It's close to town which is good but every drunk seems to walk by shouting their heads off and traffic noise goes on till 1am. Doesn't help that there is no double glazing either, but the windows were so dirty you cant see out anyway. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special

Lovely friendly owners . Great location, very close to centre.
Our Room was clean and well presented ok for us but people of bigger size may find it a squeeze in the bathroom.

My wife and I had to change from the white heart in harrogate to here as the other was horrible. It was the night of our wedding and the change meant we had to re arrange the photographer and bridesmaids. However my wife was really looked after and the treatment she had was so lovely. Breakfast the next day and a small tray was made for me with flowers so I could give my wife breakfast in bed (her dream). Overall I'm so happy with the service and lovely room that we will be coming back. Thank you

Absolutely marvellous from the host to the room to the breakfast. We cannot fault a thing. We were let down by another hotel and called Ash Grove. Fortunately, for us we got accommodated for three nights. Tabs was just as lovely on the phone as she was in person. We didn't pay silly money, it was better than some other places plus it included free parking and a amazing breakfast. Once we parked up we strolled in to the town centre nothing was an issue for us. Highly recommend, excellent service. We booked again before we left. Thank you Tabs, see you soon !

The owner here is a real nice person. Provides great hospitality and services in the place and was super nice enough to take us to the train station when we couldn't get a cab. If you happen to visit Harrogate for business or leisure, I recommend going here to spend a couple of nights.
Affordable room prices, a nice outdoor seating arrangement to hang out and enjoy the weather and view.

We have stayed in many spots in Harrogate over the past thirty years ... and if you badly need a weekend or mid-week break away from your familiar surroundings, we would highly recommend this fabulous northern town with all the gentility and sights it has to offer ... so, in a similar vein, you have to have somewhere nice to stay and, again, there are so many forms of accommodation to choose from ... we chose Ash Grove Guest House this time around and it was just a home from home from start to finish. Run by the indomitable Tabs, a lady who exudes instant karma, this wonderful and well-situated

What a delight to stay at Ash Grove Guest House. From the minute we booked directly to the time we left our whole experience was wonderful. Tabs is a lovely host, recommending all the best places to eat and visit, she sure makes your stay easy. Our room was recently beautifully decorated on the top floor, clean and fresh. We had a really good night sleep and the breakfast that followed the next morning was yummy! We will be back and recommend to friends and family. Thank you Tabs.
