Switched On Insurance provides great value Mobile Phone and Gadget insurance to 'switched on' people. People who know that coming to us direct will save them money and ensure they get a product that fits their needs. We will aim to replace it with one of the exact same model, specification and colour (subject to stock availability).
You can make a claim online 24/7 via our online claims portal. You will need your policy number to log a claim. Please ensure you have followed our procedures for blacklisting and reporting a lost or stolen device before making your claim. Details of these can be found in your Policy T&Cs. All claims are handled by Taurus Insurance Services Limited on behalf of the underwriters and Switched On Insurance.

Policy holders that pay their premiums on a monthly basis have already been notified of this change and provided with a Key Changes document, a copy of which can be located in your customer zone.
To satisfy our obligations under the GDPR a policy will only be considered as cancelled once we have verified the identity of the requester and confirmed either verbally or in writing that the cancellation request has been processed. Please note that if you do cancel your policy, your gadget will no longer be covered against any hazards that your policy covers.

Took insurance out been paying for it over a year and when I needed to claim due to breakdown, they requesters unnecessary information like letter from shop to confirm condition of gadget. After debating they agreed to continue without the letter, only to be told “we will only cover for the amount you purchased gadget for” which is unacceptable as policy states like for like. When really they should be covering me upto the amount agreed under policy schedule.

Got my phone back perfectly repaired within 1 week of sending it - claim took a few weeks to process which is fine. very pleased with how quickly I got the phone back but the communication and response time could be alot better, I had many queries unanswered and the customer service on emails is poor to say the least. They still did a good job on the phone though. Just dont expect replies to your emails anytime soon.
