We eventually settled for the Muratta Muratec MT200/2 from Matsuura. This will be the first one in Scotland and will allow us to run medium to higher volumes up to 65mm diameter while maintaining accuracy over larger batch runs. It will also allow us to run 24/7.
MD: 'We are very pleased to have finalised a deal with Matsuura for the supply of the Muratec CNC machine, we are very confident that it will make a huge difference to our capacity - especially for higher volume components.It is due here in June and we are all looking forward to its arrival'. During the next year we will be transitioning to the new standard again with ISOQAR.
