Riverco Trading was established in 2004 by husband and wife team, Janet and Peter Wootton. Our wooden garden furniture is British designed and handmade in our Staffordshire Moorlands workshops and the Company remains a small family run business to this day. The environment (and our responsibility to it) is at the heart of what we do.
All of the wood we use is from responsibly managed forests, as you would expect from a reputable garden furniture manufacturer. We only use the finest grade of Redwood known for its outstanding moisture and insect resistance, so you can enjoy you furniture with the peace of mind of its origins.

Our Frogsuit oil has been developed over a number of years to make looking after wood as easy as possible. The oil has been manufactured so that it penetrates to just beneath the surface of the wood which means that it can't peel or flake, making ongoing maintenance of your wood/furniture a lot easier than sanding down and re-painting.

We ordered a barbecue shelter from the RiverCo stand at Wisley way back in early May. When it eventually arrived in July the shelter was uneven. The fitter promised to send some shims to go underneath. The oil we paid for was also missing he promised to send that too. At the show there were shelves on the shelter which again we were promised to be sent at a later date. Here we are in October with nothing but an uneven expensive shelter. Riverco deny responsibility as they outsourced to a company called Caribbean Living who now appear to have gone bust. They are still selling this shelter on their

We saw the garden furniture at the Cosford Food Festival last year and we're very impressed by the range and quality, unfortunately I was no where near getting the garden ready with walls to build, fencing and concrete posts to replace as well as a slabbed patio to lay.We were really surprised with the competitive price considering the quality, so finally when we were ready to order last month, we expected a fair increase in the promotional price we were originally quoted. We ended up only paying £50 more, so we were dead chuffed. Delivery was quoted as 3 - 4 weeks, but within days we had a call
