Ever since I can remember I have always had a passion for food (I thank the Italian genes!). More years ago than I care to remember, I graduated from University where I qualified in Food Science. It wasn't until quite a few years later, however, that I decided to turn my passion and hobby into a business and I created Let Them Eat Cakes - that was 10 years ago and I've been creating celebration cakes and wedding cakes ever since!
We know how busy this wedding planning stuff is so we've made ordering our wedding cakes online super easy and convenient for you, saving you time, money and stress. No need to traipse from bakery to bakery - ruining your wedding diet by trying loads of different cakes. For a wedding cake that reflects your own individual style and wedding day our Bespoke Wedding Cake Service is the perfect answer. We will talk through ideas via telephone or email and create a unique design for your wedding day. We will give you my guidance and advice throughout and help you decide on the perfect cake to incorporate the style of the day and compliment both of your personalities and tastes.
Sugarcraft modelling and detailed decoration maybe charged in addition to the above prices. Happy Birthday message with name and age included, additional inscriptions available at extra cost. The number of servings listed are intended as a guide only and offer a small portion of cake. They are based on our sponge cakes being cut into 2" x 1" pieces and fruit cakes into 1" x 1" squares which are the traditional sizes for cutting wedding cake.

Flo is an absolute life saver!! Due to having to isolate because of covid, I wasn’t able to make the wedding cake for our neice’s wedding as planned and called Let Them Eat Cakes as a long shot to see if they could do a cake at incredibly short notice. Flo was so responsive and luckily had capacity to do it for us. The cake she made was beautiful and melt in the mouth delicious. We couldn’t recommend Let Them Eat Cakes more, from the amazing customer service, hassle free delivery and setup at the venue and of course, the fabulous cake itself.

Flo not only bakes magnificent looking cakes, but her cakes taste divine. Even the icing is delicious. The sponge is light and the sandwich filling is perfect. She can make sponges in a variety of flavours.
She always makes them on time and they look exactly as you imagine. I will also ask Let them Eat Cakes for any celebration cakes I need in the future.
In our recent Confirmation Bible cake she even got the gold colouring spot on. It was gold and not yellow. Always a big hit.
