At Dunholme pre-school, we believe each child is an individual and we provide a range of experiences and activities that promote learning opportunities especially for your child and their needs. Our Pre-School has been established since 1970 and is situated in our own building in the grounds of Dunholme St Chad's C of E Primary School.
We are registered with OFSTED, and offer care and education to children between the ages of 2 - 5 years. We have a 'good' grading from Ofsted who said that children make good progress because the teaching is good. Staff know the children very well and use this knowledge effectively to plan and provide a range of interesting and challenging activities.

Services
As part of the EYFS framework we are required to assess how children are learning and developing. At Dunholme Pre-school we do this through quality interactions with your child and we use our knowledge and experience of child development to see where your child is and how we can support their progress and development accross all areas of learning.
We have a small team of dedicated child-care professionals at Dunholme Pre-School that make sure all children are supported and cared for throughout their time with us. Our staff are always happy to speak with parents on an individual basis, and we will tell you as soon as you start who your child's dedicated Key Person is so that you can liaise with them about your child.
The Early Years Entitlement provides up to 15 hours government funded provision for children who are aged 3 and 4 years old each week during term time. All children are eligible from the term following their 3rd birthday. Some working families will be entitled to claim 30 free hours childcare and we offer this where places are availiable.
